Foragers Feast

Pumpkin Pie, Creamy Mushroom Pastas and  Soup, Buttery Winter Squash, Teas, Coffes, Warm Bread and Butter...YUM! Welcome to the Foragers Feast. This will be an unforgetable event to celebrate the fall forest bounty and the coming together of good people. Get wet, dirty and cold with your head down and ass up, knee deep in the ferns foraging for your dinner. Return back to our home to warm yourself around the bonfire and the dry heat of the Wood Fired Barrell Sauna. Pop in and out while we cook our meal over the open fire. Stimulate your nervous system with optional plunges in to the pond. Cozy up at the end of it all for a dinner surrounded by good people and a meal that came  from right under your feet. We cant wait to forage and feast with you.  

This event is open to all persons who can walk/hike,  unassisted for 2-3 hours on uneven forest ground. The land is steep in sections and this event will be going ahead rain or shine! Bring your rain gear it will ,most likely be wet! 

DISCLAIMER- I am not a mushroom expert! I have never been to school to study mushrooms or fungus specifically. I have however studied plants for years and owned a plant specific business for 8 years.I have been foraging here since I could walk! This is not a lecture or class style workshop. We will discuss identification tools, look over samples before heading out,  share our knowledge and forage together in a safe and educated way. We will move together through the forest, practice safe and sustanible harvesting practices and share our experiences.  Please if you have expertise to share come on out!
